Our Principles…

We apply social-science research constructs and methods to help to determine whether an organisation is fit for purpose today, and is well-prepared for the challenges of tomorrow. We identify, describe, acknowledge and advise on how to remove organisational blockages to allow the potential latent energy of the organisation to flow productively. As interventionists, our core principles are:

Organisational Commitment – we see an organisation as our client: not any particular interest group within it. We value the perspective of everyone: not only those at the top.

Fairness and Responsibility – we focus attention on how power is being exercised and strive to increase fairness, responsibility and managerial capability.

Self-Awareness – we are committed to developing self-awareness and interpersonal skills as means of promoting organisation development.

Strategic Capability – we believe that all enterprises need to be strategy-driven and have effective ways of deploying strategies throughout the entire organisation and in its wider value chain.

Supported by Theory - we draw from multiple academic disciplines that inform an understanding of human systems, especially the applied behavioural and social sciences.

Systems Focused - we approach organisations as open systems; that is, we act with the knowledge that change in one area of a system results in changes in other areas.

Action Research - we continuously re-examine, reflect and integrate insights in order to improve.

Co-Development -  we work with clients to identify development opportunities but recognise that the ownership of decisions is entirely their responsibility.

Client Confidentiality - we abide by the highest standards of data management.
